Welcome to the Diocese of Bethlehem! We are a community of parishes and institutions in the fourteen counties of Northeastern Pennsylvania. We seek to celebrate and share the love of God in word and deed. We are a part of The Episcopal Church and through it members of the Anglican Communion, the world’s third-largest body of Christians. In all that we do, we aim to be faithful followers of Jesus Christ. No matter who you are, you are welcome here. We believe that God’s love is for everyone. We strive to be a community where people of every age, race, sexuality or economic circumstance find a home and a place to grow. Whether you come in a suit or jeans and tee shirt, you will receive a warm greeting. For us a “Diocese” is a family, not an administrative unit. The whole community has the opportunity to gather regionally each quarter for fellowship and renewal. Children and youth from across our gather for events designed to encourage them and to keep them connected to each other and the Lord. We have a long and fruitful partnership with the struggling Sudanese church. We are grateful to have a disciplined and effective Evangelism program, and enjoy electronic conversation through our l listservs and social media channels. We are working hard at Congregational Renewal at every level.
