Founded in 1927, C.C. Mangum, Inc. became one of the premier heavy-highway/site contractors in central North Carolina, reaching sales in excess of $70 million, 450 employees and over 300 pieces of heavy equipment. As such, the Mangum family has long been an integral part of the economic development and growth of the greater Raleigh area. Owners Christopher Mangum and Michael Mangum sold C.C. Mangum Company in 2010. Effective June 1, 2011, Chris has launched a new company, C.C. Mangum Consulting, which takes advantage of Chris’ 30+ year career, specializing in Fleet Management of off-road and over-the-road vehicles.
