Oppidoc is a software house focused on the delivery of electronic document authoring and publishing systems on the Web. It was founded to provide customers with intuitive and easy to deploy browser-based editing user interfaces. Oppidoc develops a line of products ranging from custom authoring applications tailored to fit one document template, to fully operational hosted self-editable web sites. Oppidum contritbutes to and maintain both an open source Javascript library called AXEL (Adaptable XML Editing Library), and it's own lightweight content management solution called Oppidum. Oppidum is one of the first content management system based on a full XML-stack (XQuery, XSLT, native XML database).
