Monkton was founded in 2016 by a few engineers wanting to prove that people didn’t need to compromise on user friendly mobile-first systems in order to conform with NSA defined security criteria for highly sensitive and classified systems – that mobile applications as solutions can be better, quicker and more cost effective than legacy IT systems. Today, Monkton builds not only mission critical apps but also infinitely scalable solutions for Federal and commercial. Monkton believes the sooner the world empowers the end user at the tactical edge, the better. In April 2020, Monkton was awarded a Phase III Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) FA2595-20-D-0001 for 500 Million over the course of four years to support mission capabilities DoD wide. Mobile Apps to The Tactical Edge Ready (MATTER) IDIQ is Monkton’s solution to support any, and every mission where data is critical and mobile devices can be offered as a solution. This is just the beginning! We are rapidly building and deploying mission apps as a service, while continuing to make mobile apps accessible and affordable for more missions and more people.
