Our foundation Mission helping Hands is looking to raise awareness and, hopefully, funding for some incredibly worthwhile causes. Every one of us has been touched in some way by one or more of the causes we are looking to help in 2021. We have five different events planned with articles on each charity included in this edition. I don’t like to pat myself on the back, but I have assembled a group of individuals from Meadowbrook Financial Mortgage Bankers Corp. to form Mission Helping Hands, and their desire to make a difference is second to none. Each will be introduced along with their charities of choice. After a year like we've just had, I’m so incredibly grateful that my family and I have come away unscathed. I know many of you had COVID and came through OK. There are many that did not, so many lives lost, and many more destroyed. Many charitable groups that do so much good in the areas of mental health, addiction, broken families, and so much more were terribly impacted. Many small businesses closed forever. Now, more than ever, is a time when those of us who have been so blessed and fortunate reach out to those in need. Our 2021 fundraisers and events touch on many of these areas so desperately in need of assistance.
