Our Kids Read is a 501c3 dedicated to promoting representation in children's literature in America's schools. We promote books featuring African-American, Asian, Hispanic and Native-American/Indigenous characters in three ways: - donating books featuring characters of color directly to the children in our program (Diverse Books-in-Homes program) - donating diverse books to US public schools (Diverse Books-in-Schools program) - reading diverse books to children in our partner schools remotely via Zoom after school (Reading Buddies program)
