BioMire was founded to help prevent product and reputation spoilage by microbial contaminations. Microorganisms adapt to the most hostile environments including those we create to combat them. In a fast paced world they seem to always keep up despite new analytical technologies, increased spending and regulations. At BioMire, we believe that managing spoilage risks is a battle which can only be won collectively with insight-full information.The key to reducing occurence of microbial contaminations resides in collecting and sharing more relevant and qualified results rather than doing more or more expensive tests. Technical hurdles, confidentiality and financial constraints can be as many difficulties to overcome before accessing relevant data, particularly when a lab and microbiologists are not readily available. 
More importantly lack of Microbial Risk Management expertise is a major obstacle for accessing, but also utilizing information. Those are the problems we are dedicated to solve with new technologies. We have developed a largely digital and open solution called nomad which capitalizes on human expertise and includes test devices, to address the need for relevant, site and process specific data, enabling the access to actionable insights. The nomad Microbial Risk Management System (MRMS) combines and automates the best practices from process management, applied microbiology and quality assurance, integrated from sampling through trending to provide smarter microbiology information where it is most needed.
