Integrate UK is a Bristol based, non-profit, multi-award-winning, youth led charity that invests in the skills and talents of young people to work towards gender and racial equality, integration and community cohesion. We work with disadvantaged young people, most of whom are from Black, Minority Ethnic and Refugee communities and many are Muslim girls. Integrate UK supports young people to identify issues that affect them and empower those most at risk to become the solution through creative and educational project work. Our young people travel across the country delivering peer education workshops to students in schools and universities, and provide safeguarding training for front line professionals, such as doctors, nurses and teachers. Some of the issues our youth campaign against include female genital mutilation (FGM), honour-based violence and abuse (HBVA), child sexual exploitation (CSE), forced marriage (FM), sexual harassment and different forms of extremism. To campaign against these issues, our youth project work includes the preparation of educational resources, the creation of music videos, active involvement in film production and script writing.
