Wantagh-Levittown Volunteer Ambulance Corps was founded in 1956 by Homer K. Moore as a means for transport for the residents of Wantagh and Levittown. We provide emergency care on our ambulances staffed with Advanced Life Support providers and are 9-1-1 responders. We have volunteers trained from CPR to the level of Paramedic providing emergency care to our communities. We are funded entirely through donations from the communities and by soft billing your insurance for our services. You will never receive a bill from us. We accept what your insurance pays. If you have no insurance, our services are free. We are proud to serve you and your family.
