Domobios is a Belgian spin-off company of the Université Catholique de Louvain-la-Neuve (UCL) and the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) which highlights the results of the scientific research of Dr. Mailleux. Our principal activity is the development and sale of products aimed at eradicating domestic pests like dust mites, head lice or bedbugs. To develop our products, we study the biology of pests, especially the way they communicate and places they colonize. Once fully understood, we mimic their communication to attract them outside their natural shelters, in deadly traps. The first commercialized product is Acar’up (www.acarup.com) which is a product eradicating house dust mites. MISSION Our mission is to provide effective, ecological (without insecticides) and healthy solutions to fight against domestic pests (mites and insects).
