De Bock Maritiem b.v. is a shipping company with a fleet of 8 vessels (owned and managed) in operation which was founded in Alkmaar, The Netherlands. All vessels are operating on the free market. Every voyage has different cargo’s and destinations. Their trading area is predominantly Europe. Cargo’s are as mentioned very diverse, but many of the cargo’s are so called 'heavy lifts'. The first ship, “Smaragd” (2339 GT / 749 kW), has been in service since June 20th 2003. The second ship, “Saffier” (3970 GT / 2720 kW), has been in service since April 11th 2008. The third ship, “Sardius” (3477 GT, 1800 kW), has been in service since July the 1st 2011 The fourth ship, ''Amadeus Amethist'' and fifth ship ''Amadeus Aquamarijn'' (both 1898 GT/749kW) have been added to our fleet on 8th January 2016. The sixth and seventh ships, ''Amadeus Silver'' and ''Amadeus Gold'' (both 1767GT/749kW) are dry cargo coasters fully managed by De Bock Maritiem. The eighth ship, a dedicated chemical tanker the ''Amadeus Titanium'' (1931GT/1323kW) is also fully managed by De Bock Maritiem, showing the expertise within the short sea but also the capability of managing a tanker.
