SEPA MUJER, Servicios para el Avance de la Mujer es una organización enfocada a trabajar con la comunidad ofreciendo educación sobre derechos legales para la mujer inmigrante, también ofrece representación legal a sobrevivientes de violencia domestica. Fundada en 1993, la agencia está dedicada a educar, informar y organizar la comunidad. Organización sin fines de lucro establecida en la comunidad Latina con el objetivo de ayudar al desarrollo de la de mujer latina en la comunidad. SEPA Mujer, Services for the Advancement of Women, is a community-based not for profit organization dedicated to the empowerment of Latina immigrant women through education andadvocacy, legal rights and leadership skills training, and community organizing. The organization was formed in November 1993 by Long Island women, both immigrants and advocates, in response to the need of Latina immigrant women to educate, support and organize ourselves to improve our condition as one of the most vulnerable groups on Long Island and in the country.
