Dress for Success Cincinnati is part of a global movement for change, empowering women to obtain safer and better futures. Our concern is not where our clients have been, but rather where they are going. We are about much more than simply a new outfit. Our programs give her the confidence she will carry forever and the knowledge that she can define her life. Poverty affects women the most, and its effects can be long-lasting. Therefore, addressing women’s needs is central to improving the quality of life for not only the woman but also her family and her community through the following programs. Suiting We want women to feel their best in the job search. Our volunteers work help choose an interview outfit and provide guidance and support for the upcoming interview. Women everything they need for an interview—from clothing to confidence—and can return once they find employment for the clothing they need to enter the workforce. Career Center These programs address and eliminate the obstacles that may arise during a search for employment. Women support and encourage each other through building confidence, networking and discussing workplace-related topics. Meetings help participants stay motivated and optimistic. Whether continuing their job search or seeking professional development, women can get guidance, enhance their skills and explore career opportunities. Employment Retention Our programs focus on helping women remain employed, and build strategies to for professional growth. Having completed the crucial first step, women in these programs focus on retaining jobs and developing professional skills. Our goal is to ensure each woman is moving toward meaningful, a sustainable career and financial independence.
