For 30 years he’s dreamed about this day, now they can finally share the moment. No victory parade and social distancing means his emotions are bitter-sweet and he leaves home en-route to his son’s house laden with memories of his own father and past victory parades which echo around Anfield and City Centre streets now deserted. When he arrives at his son’s house the sight of the facade draped with famous/historic Liverpool FC banners moves him. His son and grandson wave from inside the window.
