Established in 2014, Auctus Productions is a film production company based in New York City, focusing on documentaries and short films with the goal to inform, educate and inspire audiences. From screenwriting and location scouting to filming and post-production editing, we work on every stage of the filmmaking process. We strive to effectively convey stories to our audiences and incorporate the latest technological advancements in the realm of cinematography, audio, and editing to maximize the impact of our projects. Some of our notable work includes Jack Harrison | Road to City, a co-production with Major League Soccer and Punch | The Story of Adelino Da Costa, which won Best Documentary Short at the 2019 NYC International Films Infest Festival and received several other nominations. In addition to filmmaking, we host private and public events both in New York and California to showcase our work. As recipients of the 2020 UCI Illuminations Award, we hosted two events in Los Angeles including What Film School Can’t Teach You at the University of California, Irvine and Finding Your Approach to Filmmaking at the University of California, Los Angeles. “Auctus” is the Latin word for growth, and continues to be our guiding principle. We are always searching for untold stories and seek to expand the scope of our work and expertise by embarking on new and challenging projects.
