Shanti One is a new-age real estate investment, development and management firm with a focus on building a 3 million sq ft portfolio in its first phase. The portfolio will span across top 8 cities of India covering office, warehousing, retail and data centers. The firm is backed by an international family office, which has earlier built many large real estate platforms in US, UK and India. In India, earlier the group has set up a real estate development platform, which has received investment from Morgan Stanley. The platform built the largest shopping malls of Gujarat and Punjab, multiple residential townships and other commercial assets. The platform was later divested to Blackstone. The Group also partnered with another private equity fund Silverpeak Investments to set up another real estate platform that acquired assets in Bangalore, Mumbai MMR and Vadodara. The platform was later divested to Apollo Global. The Group has already executed 20 mn sq ft of development across various platforms and investments till now in India and is presently planning 5 mn sq ft of development across platforms.
