Structrepair develops and markets materials and related process technologies for fast and resource-conserving repair and upgrading processes of lightweight structures and buildings. Hereby, specially developed fiber-reinforced plastic plates with outstanding specific strengths and stiffnesses are used. These plates, solid and robust at room temperature, can be shaped by the influence of heat and then adhere to various substrates, such as plastics, metals and concrete. If the heat input continues at certain temperatures, the material cures quickly and reaches its full final strength within a few minutes. The sheets are predestined for the repair of heavily loaded light-weight structures, such as wind turbine blades, fiber composite components of modern aircraft and vehicles, as well as lightweight hulls of sailing and motor yachts. In addition, they can be used for resource-conserving overhaul of existing bridges, tunnels and other structures.
