The company thrived for a while however in the face of increasing competition Powerfab was sold to a rival, the company changed hands a few times and along the way the brand was discontinued. The Powerfab name suddenly moriband became available and David John (CEO and Founder of former Powerfab Ltd) son Nathan John decided to re-register the company name and revived the brand.
