UMSAE Electric Polar Bear Racing is the youngest team of the UMSAE organization. Electric Polar Bear Racing designs an open wheel electric formula style race car each school year to compete in internationally renowned competitions around the world hosted by SAE International and it's associates. This provides students the opportunity to apply their knowledge and take their skills to the next level. The unique challenges of designing an electric vehicle requires a variety of skills from engineering disciplines including mechanical, electrical and computer engineering.
