The purpose of the site is to provide timely news and information relating to the towns within Orleans County, Vermont. We are also committed to hyperlocal, in-depth reporting on events throughout our communities. Taking advantage of the opportunity that digital publishing offers, we upload audio, video, and photos of most of the events we cover. Newport Dispatch was officially launched October 18th, 2013.
