The Frontier Brigade Band, the premier historical band of the Southwest, celebrates the Mid-Nineteenth Century American Brass Band Movement by dressing in authentic uniforms of the period, and by utilizing period and reproduction musical instruments. The bands repertoire encompasses historic musical arrangements from the 1840s through 1916, including original surviving pieces from the Regimental, Brigade, and Civilian band books of the American Civil War era, and music played by Buffalo Bills Wild West Cowboy Band, 1882-1916.
