The Independent Transport Safety Regulator (ITSR) is an independent statutory authority of the NSW Government. ITSR’s principal objective is to facilitate the safe operation of transport services in NSW. This is achieved through regulatory compliance activity, including investigation for safety in transport operations, and promotion of safety as a fundamental objective in the delivery of transport services.
