Based in Los Angeles, California, Legacy Productions was formed in 2010 by multi-Emmy nominated producer, Simon Lythgoe. Specializing in international formats, development and production of unscripted reality competitions, Legacy Productions has produced shows for CBS, E! Network, Viacom, ABC Family/Freeform and Disney. Its production slate includes two seasons of “CMTs Next Superstar” (CMT) “Opening Act” (E!) A Chance to Dance (Ovation) and The Spotlight (CBS). More recently the company, with its production partners Critical Content and Roberts Media, produced two specials for Freeform “Decorating Disney,” and multiple specials and series of “Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings.”
