The Company was founded in 2016 from a vision of Edoardo Pasolini, who imagined an undoubtedly Italian swim trunk made from a manufacturing process that would honour the Italian tradition while minimising the product lifecycle impact on the environment. From timeless aesthetics to the selection of exquisite patterns and colours capable of conveying the magic of the quintessential Italian costiera locations, Peninsula’s garments are designed to be effortlessly elegant and undoubtedly Italian. To be true to our name and our roots, we centered our manufacturing process, from raw materials sourcing to printing and colouring, in the Como and Varese region, one of the global centres of excellence for luxury garments. These local artisans have for generations developed a know-how in a specific phase of the manufacturing process, which only when put together create a Peninsula garment. In Peninsula, we believe in leading by example. As such, we imagined and set up a sustainable journey for our garments, from the pencil to your door, which includes, among others, the usage of regenerated fabrics, an eco-friendly printing processes and the selection of sustainable packaging materials.
