Can you imagine a world where every student graduated and had a vision for their future? We can, and we want you to join us. OK2GROW is a small business driven transformational force within the community working with groups and individuals in areas of education and workforce development. We have three programs to support our goal: -Scholarships to Success entrepreneurship program -High School Completion Coalition -Dream It Do It NE Oklahoma Through the Scholarships to Success entrepreneurship program we will build a vibrant community of young people that are equipped to think innovatively and creatively in order to potentially start their own business or use these skills in existing business. We want to crate a culture that supports these students by making more resources, mentors, experiences and opportunities available to them. This cycle, we plan to identify at least 20 students in the Tulsa area to award and coach. Through our High School Completion Coalition we help students develop a vision of success for their future. We bridge gaps between educators, businesses, parents and students by organizing career awareness activities and emphasizing the importance of completing high school. Lastly, Dream It Do It NE Oklahoma works to transform perceptions of manufacturing careers. The manufacturing industry is high-tech, sophisticated, safe, provides great benefits and is well-paid. The average salary in Oklahoma for manufacturing positions is $60, 473. There are opportunities for both men and women, and the industry is in need of its next generation of leaders.
