It was formed in Chicago by owners Gerry and Alex Alvarado, who combined their experiences to create a sustainable business venture in the janitorial industry. Geralex employs over 300 people and is growing to meet the needs of its Commercial, Office building, Government facilities, and Education Clients. The company is proudly headquartered in Chicago, Illinois. Geralex is certified as a WBE (Women Owned Business), MBE (Minority Owned Business), and a DBE (Disadvantaged Business Enterprise) business. It is also in the process of obtaining its Federally issued HUBZone (Historically Underutilized Business Zone) Certification.
