The Lomax Companies, LP
www.lomaxco.comOur roots trace back to 1958, where our cofounder, physician and businessman Walter P. Lomax, Jr., MD (pictured treating Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr) converted a row home and grocery store in South Philadelphia into a full-service community medical center. From these humble beginnings, Dr. Lomax built a six office, 22 physician practice based upon a simple but powerful business philosophy: to provide high quality services within underserved communities. Following his retirement from the practice of medicine after 32 years, Dr. Lomax and his children founded, built and exited two health insurance companies. Since 2002, The Lomax Companies has operated as a family business and investment office.
