National Power Research Laboratory was founded in 2007 with the purpose of providing advanced power supplies for Indian industries and research organizations. The company had a humble start by manufacturing various kinds of inverter-based compact MMAW, TIG, and CO2-MIG welding machines. Soon, it started manufacturing specialty programmable power sources, like high current pulsed power supplies, fast high voltage pulsed power supplies, electroplating power supplies, Electric Discharge Machine power supplies, high voltage capacitor charging power supplies, and precision electromagnet power supplies, etc. The company specializes in designing high-power resonant switched-mode converters. Currently, in sync with the government’s Make in India drive, the company is developing challenging power sources to do its bit towards Atmnirbhar Bharat.
