Key Facts: ➜The marine living planet index shows a decline of 39% between 1970 and 2010. ➜50% of the world´s corals have disappeared. ➜We are polluting the seas at an alarming rate with 8 million tons of plastic being dumped in the ocean every year. ➜By 2050, there will be more plastic in the ocean than fish Sea Life Rescue faces the challenges of returning the seas being healthy and productive again by conducting different researches in the industries of commercial shipping, marine science, and aquaculture. The organization aims to restore species populations, and inform and educate worldwide governments and industries about improving sea life sustainability through replenishment of endangered species which will help stabilize ecosystems and sustain local economies. By using marine hatchery technology to target endangered species, we can improve the oceans recover from overfishing and pollution. To contribute to the sea life reproduction solution, we aspire to position our vessels into the species‘ natural habitats to be restocked. With specially designed onboard tanks, we will enhance the fertilization of released eggs and sperm from selected brood stock.
