Our story begins back in 1964 when Don Cowles, now a veteran in the silk screen industry, opened The Savage Shop in West Yellowstone, Montana and started printing shirts. The retail shop’s success quickly grew to multiple locations and was re-named Shirtworks in 1973. A few years later, Don formed a wholesale company, Wild West Shirt Company in Bozeman, Montana. For over 40 years, Wild West Shirt Co. has serviced a wide range of customers from small "Mom-and-Pop" retail shops to large multi-national resort management companies. The entire staff at Wild West is dedicated to continually offering a high quality product, creative and innovative designs, and exceptional customer service. In 2016, Don’s children, Carson and Kalani, took over the reins of the business. Along with many dedicated members of the Wild West family, they continue to uphold the high standards of providing a quality product at a competitive price with the best customer service. Carson and Kalani value the foundation their father set over his tenure in the industry and intend to carry on the legacy for years to come.
