The Santa Rosa Family Medicine Residency is a UCSF-affiliated community based training program situated 50 miles north of San Francisco. Founded in 1970 when family medicine first became its own specialty, the program has a rich history of training full spectrum family physicians with a humanistic approach to personal and professional development. We follow an academically rigorous, resident-driven training model while caring for a diverse group of underserved patients. Affiliated training hospitals include Sutter Health, Kaiser Permanente & Children's Hospital of Oakland.
