Created by Randall Dailey and Jeff Lopes, ProximiT is an iOS subway assistant for the Boston MBTA transit system that provides live scheduling and alert data on your lock screen as you approach within a block of your subway or bus station. With over 40,000 monthly active users, ProximiT is the largest transit app in Boston. The app is among the 100 largest transit apps in the entire United States, according to the U.S. App Store, and has been featured in major Boston area publications, including the Boston Globe, the front page of boston.com, and the front-page cover story in the Metro.
