The Gilmore | Henne Community Fund, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, was established in 2010 by NFL players John Gilmore and Chad Henne to improve our community and the lives of children through the revitalization of parks and recreational facilities. The revitalization process begins with the renovation of a park or playground. Following the renovation, park programming, maintenance and neighborhood clean-ups are implemented. The revitalization process is ongoing with the community involved with every step. This helps foster a sense of pride and ownership in the community and creates sustainability. The revitalization efforts bring neighbors closer, encourage families to spend time together, and allow our youth to interact under positive adult supervision.
