Manufacturer of the DONKEY® Rough Terrain Truck Carried Forklift In 1985, Ken Ensor developed a revolutionary rough terrain truck carried forklift. It was lightweight, able to carry heavy loads, could go virtually anywhere, was simple to operate and maintain, and could be easily mounted on the back of a truck - it was a Donkey. Quality Corporation began to manufacture the Donkey in Denver, Colorado in 1987. While we have grown, all facets of manufacture of the Donkey happen at our plant in Southwest Denver: R&D, fabrication, assembly, warehousing, part sales, and service. The name Donkey is now synonymous with truck carried forklifts.
