AiMatchMaker has developed a tech-empowered matchmaking service that maintains the quality and effectiveness of human matchmakers and the scalability to serve the needs of ethnic Chinese singles all around the world. What we do is to transform the matchmaking service into a scalable standardized product by applying a direct sales model to our “Authorized Matchmakers”, and by equipping them with our cloud CRM system and global database of Chinese singles. First, we made a mobile app to naturally recruit global Chinese singles, so as to build the candidate database for the premium service. Second, we designed a 1-on-1 matchmaking process based on the understandings of Chinese culture (e.g. because of feeling relatively uneasy to social events, the client would like the matchmaker to make an introduction first and stay around during his/her first date with the match), the world-renowned Matchmaking Institute’s best practice, and the traits of our global Chinese single pool. Finally, we designed a direct sales system to help our authorized matchmakers provide these ethnic Chinese single clients with our personalized 1-on-1 matchmaking service. The direct sales system has 2 major parts: 1) matchmaker training with continuous support from the core team, and 2) a custom-made cloud CRM system (mobile app and web), which helps not only with service quality assurance but also with training efficiency (i.e. we cut training to one-third the time for that of a traditional matchmaker but keep the same service quality). Compared with the general dating sites/apps which measure success whether both parties swipe right, we arrange dates for our customers and success for us is for both parties liking each other and being willing to exchange contacts for second and more dates. Our unique matchmaking process makes over 50% of our dates go on successful matches, i.e. 1 out of 2 dates there is a spark for both parties.
