The potential of 3D and spatio-temporal data in the way we engage with rich information and the way we communicate with others will enhance the way we process information, the way we understand the world we live in, and the way we generate new knowledge. The objective of this research and development is to shape the science behind urban digital communication. The ongoing complexity and fragmentation in the urban digital communication landscape require the development of a collaborative digital thread and a new language, one that is higher-dimensional, as we navigate towards Industry 5.0, 6G and the Spatial Web. This will have a great impact in urban design and planning methodologies, and governance.
