The import company Einar A. Engelstad AS was estabished in 1923 by Einar A. Engelstad. Typical of the importers of the time, Engelstad AS imported lots of different types of goods as well as acting as agents in the import of alcoholic beverages for the Vinmonopolet. Gradually Engelstad became more and more focused on the import of wines and spirits and after a while became the largest agent in Norway, carrying well known brands in all catergories. Today we are the 6th largest wine and spirit importer in Norway. Together with the other importers within the Solera group we are the biggest group (in L volume) in Norway.
