Lenton Brae
www.lentonbrae.comA family-owned winery, Lenton Brae was established in 1982. Recent renovations have rejuvenated the site, showcasing the splendour of this region. Large bay windows overlook our lake, adorned with ducks and native birds. Outdoor shaded tables are perfect in the summer months and cosy fireplaces in winter. Situated just north of Margaret River, Lenton Brae is nestled into the hills of the premium Wilyabrup region. Here, loamy gravel soils provide excellent constitution and drainage. A stone’s throw (around 3.5kms) from the Indian Ocean, our vines benefit from a mild and consistent Mediterranean climate. Come in for a tasting of our wines. You’ll discover a combination of tradition and innovation. The Wilyabrup Chardonnay tends to be made bright with a tight acid structure, while the Cabernet Merlot is typically made in a medium-bodied and restrained Margaret River style. We have varietal Cabernet Sauvignon, in different styles, and from vintages, going all the back to 1987! We are preparing to bottle our 37th current vintage of SSB (which is a very Margaret River blend, and a true favourite with our regulars). Now sourcing fruit from a range of viticultural satellites in Margaret River and beyond, we are busy increasing our production of premium, small-batch wines. These include new wines in the In Good Hands range, which currently include a Marsanne and a Chenin Blanc. We are also the sole producers of Pinot Blanc in WA, a variety originally from Alsace (France). Our offerings are constantly evolving.
