CommonHealth is a blockchain-powered patient health and transparency project focusing on interoperability and care collaboration. The siloed nature of current medical records makes data exchanges difficult and time consuming, resulting in suboptimal care. CommonHealth leverages the unique properties of blockchain to keep patient records secure, private, and coordinate its transfer between providers, with the patient in control. By giving ownership to the patient, and allowing care providers quick access to complete and accurate medical records so that they may provide effective and timely care, CommonHealth is improving the health outcomes of the commonwealth.
