Out of the Darkness Theatre Company (ODTC) is a professional theatre company located in Elgin, Scotland, who create and perform an inclusive and engaging programme of theatre and training. Launched in 1992 at grassroots level, we are committed to providing opportunities for adults with learning disabilities to be involved in theatre. Through doing so we aim to combat social exclusion by demonstrating through all activities that the diversity which inclusion brings contributes to development, increases creativity and innovation, heightens awareness and promotes understanding. We have continued to develop to meet the demands of our members and the wider community, harnessing the wealth of talent and skills available to create and deliver award-winning services and projects. In 2012 we began delivering the hugely successful NC Acting & Theatre Performance in collaboration with Moray College UHI. Through Moray College UHI we also continue to expand our training in our Skills for Life programme. Charity No: SC020599
