Let My People Go
www.lmpgnetwork.orgAs many as 45.8 million people are impacted by modern day slavery around the world. This modern day slavery, or Human trafficking it is commonly known, is essentially the exploitation of vulnerability for commercial gain. With that is mind, Let My People Go is a vibrant network of churches working to empower the local church to fight human trafficking by loving those most vulnerable. As churches begin to recognize and respond to those most vulnerable in their own respective communities, they will find themselves on the forefront of the fight against human trafficking. With that said, Let my people Go(LMPG) uses an innovative framework that is both Congregational and Collaborative with the Gospel as it's motive. Each church partnered with LMPG will be trained and resourced as a congregation to: 1) Identify, 2) Protect, 3) Empower, 4) Include those most vulnerable in their congregations. In addition, LMPG helps those in their network to partner with other organizations in their community who are working with similar vulnerable populations. All the while, LMPG works diligently to remind churches that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is the only motivation sufficient enough to promote lasting change in our neighborhoods.
