The mission of the River Oaks Square Arts Center is to provide education in the visual arts and crafts and to stimulate interest in, exhibition of, and appreciation for artists and their work. A creative hub of Central Louisiana. To fulfill this mission we: • Operate and maintain galleries and studios to support exhibitions and broad based arts education programs. • Promote and be a venue for sales of works of art for resident artist and exhibiting artists. • Provide an understanding of the role of the arts in the enrichment of community life and cultural heritage. • Promote regional, local and resident artists as a valuable community asset. • Offer a premier visual arts Summer Program for children. • Are dedicated to standards of excellence.
