Since 2018, Bridge2 has been offering support to the asylum seeking and refugee community in Toxteth and in the wider Merseyside area. We exist to be a place of welcome and a first point of contact for asylum seekers in the local area. We offer a variety of services such as: English classes and cultural classes, skills and art workshops, support groups, and practical support such as clothes, toiletries, and food. For services that we don't provide we have a strong referral network with other charities in Liverpool. Our building is a welcoming place for people from diverse cultures and backgrounds and our art gallery, Gallery 1889, is open to the public. We offer a safe space, a listening ear and a place of contemplation and inspiration. Bridge2 Liverpool is a registered charity with the charity commission.
