Jennfier Shigetomi is the creative force behind MATSU Jewellery. In addition to being a trained goldsmith from George Brown College, Jennifer also draws on her Fine Arts background from the OCAD University. Alongside business partner and sister Lisa, MATSU Jewellery set up thier first studio in 1996. In 2004 they decided to expand and relocate to their current location which combined a storefront with their studio. Known for designs reflecting a cool elegance and contemporary styling, Jennifer's work is a unique balance of artistry and technique. Her limited production lines can be found in stores and galleries across Canada and the U.S. The MATSU store which houses Jennifer's limited production and one of a kind pieces also showcases unique work by jewellers/metalsmiths from both sides of the border.
