The MSc Ivey Finance and Technology Club mandate is threefold: (1) To educate students and enrich their lives by exposing them to finance and technology (2) To promote the generation of creative and innovative ideas, and (3) to assist with career development and build relationships with disruptive companies. Our philosophy is to facilitate a forum for knowledge diffusion and experimentation in finance and technology. Our club is firmly rooted in the notion that the best learning comes from doing and as such is focused on educating and creating the next generation of innovators and disruptors. The club gets students engaged a diverse range of topics including but not limited to Blockchain Technology (Cryptocurrency), Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Startups & Venture Capital, Personal Investing, Trading (Algorithmic & Quantitative Investing), Digital Banking (P2P Banking, Raising Capital, B2B Activities), Financial Innovation, Cybersecurity, and Big Data.
