Helmed by designer Valentino Vettori and business partner Sam Ben-Avraham, IMPROVD by Valentino Vettori was born in 2010 out of the desire to improve on the industry’s status quo. IMPROVD focuses on creating sophisticated, minimalist designs with an attention to detail. Through innovative cuts and purposeful stitching, IMPROVD caters to clientele looking for effortless, intellectual designs that are wearable and timeless. Vettori cites nature as his biggest inspiration, constantly seeking to translate the subtle colors and texture combinations found in plants, animals, and landscapes to his collections. The brand has already been met with quick success, both in the U.S. and abroad, with plans to only expand further. After being stocked in top department stores like Nordstrom Bloomingdales, and Harvey Nichols in its debut season, IMPROVD opened its flagship store in New York’s Meatpacking District in February 2011 as well as two shop-in-shops in Atrium NY and Atrium Miami in 2010.
