The Nelson Cannabis Collective's vision is to create an authentic community success story, one that will bring empowerment, jobs, creativity, and revenue to a small British Columbia mountain town famous for its role in the international cannabis industry. Nelson is ground zero when it comes to the iconic recognition of BC Bud. For the last 50 years, local growers have used their collective experience to craft some of the world’s best cannabis. Until recently, this was done behind closed doors and in secrecy. Our mission is to bring this intellectual capital into the light. While many freshly minted cannabis brands focus on splashy marketing and hyped up product, we want to focus on what really matters—the grower. WE WANT TO HELP GROWERS GROW We offer growers the opportunity to make the transition from illegal to legal markets, the resources to perfect and evolve their craft, and be financially successful—all in a way that’s adaptable depending on the individual. That’s why we want to cluster a number of micro cultivation licenses in one facility and under the leadership of one founding group. We have assembled a highly specialized, skilled and balanced collection of individuals to lead the Nelson Cannabis Collective from concept to functioning business. Combining successful local entrepreneurs from Nelson, with experts in operations, licensing, investment strategy, regulatory compliance, marketing, sales, and quality assurance, including law enforcement and military experience, we feel we’ve struck a unique alchemy when it comes to realizing our direction, culture and leadership.
