Glotman•Simpson Cycling is a Vancouver based cycling club committed to creating a safe and supportive environment for riding and racing enthusiasts while presenting a positive image for cyclists and supporting the community. With almost 400 registered members, Glotman•Simpson Cycling is one the province's largest cycling clubs. In addition to fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment for riders, Glotman•Simpson Cycling is dedicated to supporting the search to find a cure for Pancreatic Cancer. Hosted each year by the club, The Cypress Challenge is an annual event for cyclists to challenge themselves on Vancouver's premier hill climb while supporting a good cause. Over the past eight years, the Cypress Challenge has raised over $1.6 million for the BC Cancer Foundation in support of pancreatic cancer research in B.C. This incredible event has built a strong momentum to transform the pancreatic cancer landscape here in our province, such as helping to establish Pancreas Centre BC in 2012, a dedicated research body focused on advancing care for people facing pancreatic cancer.
