Our STEM education club for girls in middle school and high school - Club Athena - has a transportation theme yet prepares our members for a professional career track in the specialties of invention, design, engineering, fabrication and business. We teach essential life skills, career development and college prep with interactive and creative methods to stimulate curiosity and expose STEM career opportunities. Whether they want to be a designer, lawyer, doctor, or entrepreneur, the career paths for girls are limitless. They just haven’t been exposed to the possibilities yet. As an extra-curricular club, inclusion in this program benefits girls pursuing STEM careers in any industry by giving them real-life experience, allowing them to better understand and innovate for the future. We are creating a safe space for young girls to try new things – a solution-based THINK TANK for Teenage Girls – to expand their knowledge, and be themselves. We are RACING to build a better future.
