Waverly Academy is Jacksonville’s first-ever tuition-free, single-gender, public, charter school serving middle school girls. The school opened in August 2011 and serves students in sixth through eighth grade. It has an extended day and extended school year and a curriculum focused on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM). Our mission is to prepare girls for success in college, creating confident, capable, and creative women of tomorrow, eager to challenge shape and change the world.
